Breathless

When I was living in Shanghai, my breakfast was always getting crushed in the crowded subway during the morning rush — especially the eggs.
The cracks formed under pressure fascinated me, while the suffocating feeling left a deep impression.

This everyday experience became the starting point of my research.
Through the subway as a high-density space, I began to explore the relationship between the human body and its surrounding environment under pressure.

From this, I created a second layer of skin that can breathe —
a responsive surface that reacts to compression, mimicking cracking, expansion, and breathing, as a way to visualize stress and reclaim personal space.
