The body under the gaze

My theme was inspired by a piece of news from a recent women's beach volleyball match. The girls were fined cause they wore shorts as men did instead of bikini bottoms, which obeyed the rule of the Beach Volleyball Association and aroused heated discussions in the society. More than 40,000 people applied online to revoke the fines imposed on women's volleyball players. It also made me think about the different dress requirements for male and female athletes: Why do women tend to have more revealing than men in many sports?
